U.S. College Majors Outcomes - Exploratory Data Analysis and Visualization
Student loan debt is a major issue in the U.S., reaching 1.5 trillion in 2018 and becoming the second highest consumer debt category, only behind mortgage debt.
Given that the average graduate has more than $37,000 in student loan debt, choosing the right college major is increasingly critical.
This project aims to analyze outcomes for U.S. graduates based on their major in terms of earnings and unemployment. Special attention is also given to exploring the gender gap in bachelor's degrees.
